BY POPULAR DEMAND
To celebrate the rich diversity
of the ethnic backgrounds of our parish community, we are planning a
multicultural Liturgy for Sunday, May 18 at 10:30 AM followed
by a social gathering in the parish hall. During the Mass several languages
will be used for prayer and in song. We hope that as many nationalities
as possible will be represented.
Here are a few suggestions which can help this happen:
Read one Prayer of the Faithful in your ethnic language
Wear ethnic style clothing
Prepare a sample of ethnic food
Decorate a small table with items representing your country
Bring music CD’s in your ethnic language
If you are able to participate in one or more of the above areas, please
contact Jane Asber or Sister Roberta.
The next monthly "Gathering for Justice and Peace"
at St. Zepherin will be on Sunday, May 18, noon -12:45 in the
church at 99 Main St, Wayland.
The topic will be "Intro to the Path of Non-violence".
COMING UP AT THE CAMPION CENTER- WESTON
Building the Inner Sanctuary directed by Cynthia Giardina, Pastoral
Associate of St. Linus Parish in Natick. To quote Rabbi Abraham Joshua
Herchel: “it is necessary to build a sanctuary within, brick by brick,
instants of meditation, moments of devotion.” Come away for a day of
prayer and reflection to create the framework of your own sanctuary
on June 14.
